Job Summary
We are seeking a Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves implementing age-appropriate curricula, engaging in lesson planning, and providing individualized support to meet the diverse needs of each child. This position will also assist in our Daycare Center.
Hours: 8:30am-5:30pm
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging curriculum tailored to the developmental stages of preschool-aged children.
- Create lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and physical education activities.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning through play.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that adheres to child welfare standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management is highly desirable.
- Certification in CPR for children is preferred but not mandatory at the time of hire.
