Driver Check in Associate - 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)

Job Title: Driver Check-in Associate

Location: 101 Pugsley Rd, Brewster NY

Summary:

LesserEvil is an innovative, healthy-snacks brand looking to add a Driver Check-In Associate to our growing team. In this position, you’ll work to ensure that driver check-ins are handled seamlessly at our warehouse facility.

Role/Responsibilities:

• Greeting drivers at the warehouse window and keeping the driver welcome area clean and stocked throughout the day.
• Performing driver check-ins and assigning drivers to the correct dock.
• If docks aren’t ready, gather the driver contact information and follow up with a dock assignment when orders are ready to be loaded.
• Entering driver information accurately to JotForm to assist in the check-in process.
• Updating the Flash report and NetSuite with all necessary information once an order has shipped.
• Ensuring all drivers complete and sign the associate Bill of Lading (BOL) to their order. Verifying all data for accuracy.
• Staying on top of all inbound email communications by responding quickly and with a customer service focused attitude.
• Communicating with LesserEvil’s cross functional teams to support problem solving and improving logistics operations as needed.
• Informing the logistics clerk if there are any late/no-show pick-ups.
• Scanning paperwork and saving to the LesserEvil internal drive.
• Maintaining a high level of quality and customer service at all times.
• Upholding LesserEvil’s safety standards and making sure all operational guidelines are met.
• Identifying areas of improvement and suggesting solutions to maximize the efficiency in our shipping processes.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School degree or equivalent work experience, preferred
• 1-2 years of warehouse, logistics, or related experience
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) Preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Ability to collaborate with different departments
• Proficient with Gmail, Excel and/or Google Sheets

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be willing to work in Brewster, NY
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Able to bend, lift, pull.
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
• Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
• Must have a reliable vehicle as daily trips between factory, warehouse, and office may be necessary
