Warehouse Logistics Associate – 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)

Job Title: Logistics Associate

Location: 101 Pugsley Road, Brewster, NY

Summary:

LesserEvil is an innovative, healthy-snacks brand looking to add a Logistics Associate to our growing team. In this position, you’ll work to ensure that paperwork associated with our outbound shipments are handled seamlessly at our warehouse facility.

Role/Responsibilities:

• Generating Bill of Lading (BOL) quickly and accurately.
• Ensuring the accuracy of the BOL and all of the items included in the outbound documentation
• Entering outbound shipping information into NetSuite in real time with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Verifying that BOLs match the information in NetSuite and vice versa.
• Updating the flash report in real time with shipment status and orders.
• Ownership over the entire paperwork processing for BOLs, including data entry, document scanning, and any additional functions regarding outboard shipment paperwork.
• Staying on top of all inbound email communications by responding quickly and with a customer service focused attitude.
• Communicating with LesserEvil’s cross functional teams to support problem solving and improving logistics operations as needed.
• Maintaining a high level of quality and customer service at all times.
• Upholding LesserEvil’s safety standards and making sure all operational guidelines are met.
• Identifying areas of improvement and suggesting solutions to maximize the efficiency in our shipping processes.
• Serve as backup for other members of the logistics team in Brewster.
• Communicate with CDL drivers in-person to ensure BOLs are signed properly.
• Assign docks to drivers (inbound and outbound) via the Conduit system.
• Become forklift certified to assist loading process when necessary.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School degree or equivalent work experience, preferred
• 1-2 years of warehouse, logistics, or related experience
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) Preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Ability to collaborate with different departments
• Proficient with Gmail, Excel and/or Google Sheets

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be willing to work in Danbury, CT
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Able to bend, lift, pull.
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
• Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
• Must have a reliable vehicle as daily trips between factory, warehouse, and office may be necessary
