Summary
LesserEvil, a growing snack food manufacturing company is seeking an experienced CDL-A truck driver to serve our Factory/Warehouse locations in a safe and timely manner.

Driver Responsibilities
- Performing daily truck inspections prior to using any company vehicle
- Transporting completed product and raw materials to and from the factory as needed
- Completing all necessary documentation for transfer of product
- Completing warehouse tasks as directed between factory runs
- Maintaining vehicles in a clean and organized manner
- Complying with all Warehouse Safety Policy
- May have to travel out-of-state, when necessary, for deliveries or pickups
Warehouse Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Picking shipments according to the picklist with direction from Warehouse Floor Supervisor
- Loading orders into trucks in accordance with food safety policies
- Assisting drivers in loading goods from the factory into the warehouse
- Assisting in loading raw materials into the warehouse
- Assisting with Online/Sample packing
- Maintaining the warehouse in a clean and organized manner
- Complying with all Warehouse Safety Policies
Detailed Job Responsibilities:
Motor Vehicle Responsibilities:
- Complying with Daily Truck inspection from the start of a shift or prior to using any company trucks
- Pick up completed product from the factory at appropriate intervals and load into warehouse following established protocol
- Delivering raw materials to the factory at their request, return unneeded raw materials to the warehouse
- Consulting with the factory Shift Lead and Production Board to see if any raw materials are required for the next shift
- Traveling out-of-state when necessary, for deliveries or pickups, keeping logbook current, following all CT DMV and DOT Regs
- Truck cabs and boxes must be cleaned twice a week at a minimum (Wipe down, sweep, vacuum)
Warehouse Responsibilities:
- Loading raw materials into the warehouse, maintaining the proper separation between allergens and non-organics
- Completing necessary documentation for transfers of product and materials, deliver to Material & Shipping Supervisor's desk
- Being aware of other employees when using forklifts and pallet jacks, and operate safely following procedures outlined in the training
- Completing various warehouse tasks as directed between runs (picking, loading, etc.), consult with the Warehouse Manager at the beginning of the shift
- Police floors and aisles for full trash barrels, cardboard, and other debris like plastic strapping, wood splinters, stretch wrap, etc.
Qualifications:
- Present valid Class A Driver's License
- Three years clean driving record, with documentation from DMV
- Must pass internal Forklift Training to obtain Safety Authorization Card
- Communicate clearly and in a timely manner

- Ability to lift 50lbs from floor to overhead
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to operate a sit-down forklift and pallet jack
- Able to work in a crowded/loud warehouse
