Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Paralegal to support our attorneys in a wide range of transactional matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting legal documents, managing complex files, and working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and revise corporate documents, including formation documents, operating agreements, bylaws, and corporate resolutions
- Prepare and review contracts and investment-related agreements
- Assist with estate planning matters, including drafting wills, trusts, and related documents
- Support probate and estate administration, including preparation of filings and correspondence with courts and clients
- Maintain and organize client files and documentation
- Communicate with clients, financial institutions, and third parties as needed
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and firm standards
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of paralegal experience in a transactional law practice
- Demonstrated experience drafting corporate documents, contracts, and investment agreements
- Strong background in estate planning (wills, trusts) and probate administration
- Excellent writing, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice management software
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred
