Description
The
Payment Processor IIobtains tax bills and amounts from multiple tax authorities nationwide and provides the information to the client. The role balances client payments and prepares payments in bulk to ship to the tax authorities on behalf of LERETA clients.

- Reviews agency websites, make/receives phone calls or review internal tax reports to identify the tax amounts that need to be procured/paid and report the findings to the client in a timely manner
- Balances client returns and assists with matching payment checks to vouchers/bills then prepares the packet for shipping to the appropriate tax authorities
- Procures tax status for various properties / accounts according to department policies and procedures in accordance with the Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Tracks and maintains daily production / workflow and accuracy expectations data in order to submit a status report to management on a daily basis
- Performs basic clerical duties such as copying, scanning and filing of property tax and other documentation
- Initiates and submits check requests for agency fees and penalties

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with MicrosoftOffice Excel, Outlook and Word
- Typing speed of 35 wpm (minimum)
- Minimum of 1-year mortgage servicing experience; specifically, in the procurement and payment of property taxes
- 1 years clerical and/or office experience
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
