We are currently seeking experienced Construction Superintendents to oversee commercial projects ranging from approximately $500K to $25M . This role requires a well-rounded understanding of construction operations and the ability to manage projects from start to finish.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Create and manage comprehensive project schedules, including labor, materials, and equipment planning to support efficient field operations.
- Supervise subcontractors, ensuring work quality, adherence to project requirements, and overall performance.
- Coordinate material deliveries and equipment usage to maintain workflow and productivity.
- Lead project meetings, perform site inspections, and enforce quality control standards.
- Track and report project progress, identifying risks and helping maintain schedule and budget goals using tools such as Procore.
- Assist with submittals, RFIs, change orders, and shop drawing reviews to keep projects moving forward.
- Provide leadership across multiple job sites, with travel throughout Central PA and surrounding areas as needed.
- Apply hands-on experience in concrete work, form systems, carpentry, and general construction practices.
- Review project plans and logistics to ensure constructability, efficiency, and safety.
- Direct field teams to optimize productivity and meet project milestones.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Minimum seven (7) years of commercial construction experience, including at least 3 years in a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent role
- Experience managing projects ranging from $500K to $25M or more
- Can safely lift up to 60 pounds, climb ladders, stairs, and climb out of ditches
- Strong working knowledge of construction processes, including sitework, concrete, formwork systems, cranes, MEP systems, carpentry, codes, inspections, and stormwater requirements
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Comfortable using computers, smartphones, and standard software (Outlook, Excel, Word, Procore, etc.)
- Current OSHA 30 certification required
- Strong organizational and planning abilities
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
