We are looking for a skilled and physically capable Carpenter with commercial construction experience, OSHA 10 certification preferred, and strong expertise in fundamental carpentry techniques to join our team full-time team in Huntingdon, PA.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, fabricate, and install trim, panels, doors, cabinetry, casework, and custom architectural woodwork according to commercial project specifications.
- Work with specialty woods, composite materials, and fire-rated products common in commercial environments while maintaining quality standards.
- Interpret and execute commercial blueprints, architectural drawings, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades (electricians, HVAC, drywall, etc.) to maintain schedules and resolve on-site challenges.
- Ensure installations comply with building codes, ADA standards, fire safety regulations, and client durability and finish expectations.
- Repair, replace, and upgrade existing woodwork in occupied or operational commercial spaces with minimal disruption.
- Conduct site assessments, prepare take-offs, and assist with pre-installation planning as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Minimum of one (1) year of related experience performing carpentry related tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal training or apprenticeship in carpentry strongly preferred
- Current OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Can safely lift up to 60 pounds, climb ladders, stairs, and climb out of ditches
- Must wear proper protective equipment at all times
- Advanced knowledge of finish carpentry techniques and commercial construction standards
- Excellent troubleshooting, adaptation, and quality control skills for complex, fast-paced projects
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Strong understanding of commercial construction documents (blueprints, specs, submittals)
