What You Will Do

Applications range from Client/Server to Web for a Network Access Control solution, running on both Windows and Linux systems.
- Design, create, and execute automated and manual test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage and product quality.
- Develop and optimize test cases within an existing automation framework to enhance test effectiveness and efficiency.
- Analyze test results, document defects, and work with the development teams to refine test strategies and improve testing processes.
- Collaborate and work closely with product, development, and other quality assurance teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Continuously improve testing practices by contributing to process enhancements and adopting best practices.
- 7 years of experience as a solutions QA engineer designing, building, and executing manual and automated test cases.
- Experience with networking elements like routers and switches, network protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, and SNMP, and virtualization technologies like VMware and Hyper-V.
- Proficiency with Python and Java are a plus.
- Excellent understanding of software principles, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and best practices.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and debugging techniques for software and network issues.
- Familiarity with Git and/or Jenkins automation.
- Excellent analytical thinking and communication skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Can work independently.
- Thorough thinker and focused on quality.
