Production Supervisor - Night Shift

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Production Oversight
- Communicate production goals, responsibilities, and expectations to plant-floor employees.
- Lead, coach, and support hourly workers to meet daily and weekly production targets.
- Monitor attendance, performance, and workflow to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve production needs and maintain smooth operations.
- Set up equipment and welding machines, ensuring proper voltage, amperage, and configuration.
- Verify pre-heat, joint configuration, weld size, and other specifications.
- Perform weld checks and adjust tools or processes as needed.
- Troubleshoot issues across all work centers and support repairs or adjustments.
- Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling components.
- Conduct visual quality inspections and ensure adherence to production schedules.
- Lead daily safety meetings and reinforce safety protocols.
- Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas.
- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and powered hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Work primarily standing and perform physically demanding tasks as needed.
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, production manuals, and work instructions.
- Train, mentor, and guide team members to improve skills and performance.
- Communicate effectively with management and supervisors regarding production status.
- Experience in production management and lean manufacturing principles.
- Proven ability to lead hourly employees and achieve manufacturing goals.
- Experience as a welder foreman or in quality management.
- Strong fabrication and production supervision skills.
- 4 years of lead or supervisory experience in heavy manufacturing.
- 3-5 years of experience in heavy industrial environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
