Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a First-Line Manufacturing Operations Manager (level K) to support the 777 Change Incorporation & Refurbishment (CI&R) in Everett, Washington.
First-line leaders on the 777 CI&R team cultivate strong cross-functional partnerships to drive team and program objectives while fostering a work environment that prioritizes safety, quality, accountability, trust, and teamwork. This role is pivotal in promoting a first-pass quality approach within manufacturing, and it is essential for our leaders to be dedicated to the success of their team members.
In this position, the leader will ensure adherence to FOD-free product standards and the Clean as You Go philosophy, which are critical elements of our production system. A steadfast commitment to our standards, our people, and our customers is mandatory. The candidate will be responsible for the tactical execution of the Compliance strategy within the 777 CI&R team and may also provide direct support to production and manufacturing as business needs arise. Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.
Position Responsibilities
These positions are for 1st and 2nd shift and placement will be determined once candidates are selected. Must be willing to support on any shift.

Position Responsibilities
- Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines
- Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
- Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manages, develops and motivates employees
- 3 years of experience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment
- 3 working in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment ace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment
- 3 years of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace
- Must be willing to work 2nd shift
- 1 years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Manufacturing data
- 1 years of experience using Boeing Production System (BPS)
- Must be adaptable and able to execute with urgency
- Commitment to Go for Zero and Incident Injury Free (IIF) principles
