The Financial Analyst - Ortho (FA) will be the dedicated support for the Orthopaedics Franchise. Primary responsibilities will be oversight of both the annual and periodic budget processes, monthly financial reporting, and maintaining supporting systems. Key Financial reporting objectives will be, tracking of actuals against plan, prior year and reforecasted expenses, as well as analysis of trends, risks, and opportunities. Through improved understanding of franchise and business unit profitability the FA will provide financial modeling on new products/R&D programs, increased customer expansion, business partner collaboration, and pricing impacts. The FA will serve as the strategic business partner for the DBM, Fresh, Gen Ortho, Tendons and External Products business units representing > $300 million of annual sales. The FA will play an integral part in providing meaningful financial analyses to support management in the decision-making process.

This is a Hybrid Position with 2 days onsite.

Salary $95,000

Responsibilities

• Analyzes financial information from functions, business units and the Orthopaedics franchise within the Foundation and develops meaningful, insightful analyses, models, reports and presentations
• Analyzes, interprets and reports on budget to actual variances. Tracks and analyzes critical business drivers and key financial performance indicators including sales trends, donor metrics, gross margin reconciliations, SG&A analytics and Capex
• Manages new standardized reporting and analyses requirements across business units, segments and the Orthopaedics franchise. evaluates processes and implements improvements
• Participation in project team environment to provide financial analysis and insights
• Creates budgets, forecasts and financial models and works closely with business partners to track overall financial performance, identify cost savings and optimal investment opportunities
• Conducts in-depth financial analyses, prepares detailed presentations, develops strategicinsights and provides recommendations to senior management.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the Orthopaedics Franchise and Business Unit leads in order to become the trusted business partner.
• Conducts regular financial reviews with business partners to communicate financial performance, key business issues and provide insights to help the business achieve financial goals. Collaborates with stakeholders to optimize financial outcomes
• Assist on special projects and performs additional duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. or a combination of education and/or equivalent work experience
• 5 years of healthcare experience
