Position Mission

As a Chiropractic Physician at Performance Ortho, you will play a key role in improving our patients’ quality of life through accurate, timely, and effective diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal system disorders. You’ll work within a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment alongside experts in pain management, physical therapy, orthopedic surgery, acupuncture, and occupational therapy.

Position Objectives

• Assess and accurately diagnose musculoskeletal health issues for new and returning patients.
• Reduce pain and restore healthy function within the scope and standards of chiropractic care.
• Fully engage patients in their recovery process and foster a motivating, patient-centered experience.
• Seamlessly co-manage patient care with the interdisciplinary provider team.
• Contribute to a collaborative and holistic care model that emphasizes functional recovery.
• Continuously maintain and develop state-of-the-art competence as a chiropractic physician.
• Embody and reinforce company values and culture in all internal and external interactions.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Diagnosis & Treatment

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient health history, musculoskeletal condition, and functional limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized chiropractic treatment plans to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and enhance quality of life.
• Administer manual adjustments, soft tissue therapies, and other evidence-based techniques to promote recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary for optimal outcomes.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and compliant records for each patient encounter.

Collaborative Care

• Partner with interdisciplinary providers—including physical therapists, pain management specialists, and acupuncturists—to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Communicate effectively with referring providers to ensure continuity of care and integrated treatment planning.
• Educate patients on postural awareness, ergonomic principles, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term wellness.

Leadership & Team Development

• Contribute to the education and mentorship of clinical support staff and assistants.
• Demonstrate leadership through professionalism, integrity, and adherence to best clinical practices.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, staff meetings, and training sessions.

Qualifications

Required:

• Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from an accredited chiropractic college.
• Current New Jersey Chiropractic License in good standing.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience treating patients in a clinical setting
• Experience in a medical or multidisciplinary environment strongly preferred.
• Must be comfortable working in a high-volume patient environment.
• Ability and willingness to travel onsite to Watchung, NJ and other nearby clinics as needed.
