This newly created Director of Drug & Alcohol Services role provides leadership over 3.7 medical withdrawal management and ASAM assessments, playing a critical role in shaping the clinical direction of a newly established program. This position directly expands access to life‑saving care and strengthens the community’s response to substance use and co‑occurring disorders.

What You Bring
- Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field
- Active PA Licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT
- Preferred Certifications: ASAM Criteria, Certified Clinical Supervisor (requires a CAADC or master’s degree in a relevant field)
- Minimum: Three years’ experience working in a social services agency, with at least two years of supervisory experience
- Experience implementing and adhering to regulatory standards from OMHSAS and DDAP
- Experience in 24/7 walk-in drug & alcohol assessment centers, 3.7 Medically Monitored High-Intensity Inpatient Services , or substantial SUD/Co-occurring program settings.
- Specialized in evidence-based treatment protocols for withdrawal management and recovery, substance abuse disorders, trauma-informed care, and crisis intervention.
- Experience implementing, overseeing, and documenting case management services to PA WITS, Managed Care Organizations, and the Single County Authority.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, with or without accommodation
Your Role
- Lead clinical and operational oversight of Drug & Alcohol Services, including 3.7 medical withdrawal management and ASAM assessments
- Ensure high‑quality, evidence‑based, trauma‑informed care aligned with ASAM standards
- Maintain regulatory and licensure compliance
- Implement and oversee clinical policies, procedures, and protocols
- Supervise, mentor, and support clinical leadership and staff
- Ensure 24/7 clinical coverage, including on‑call coordination
- Monitor outcomes, documentation quality, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Serve as a liaison to hospitals, emergency departments, first responders, and community partners
- Address client and family concerns and provide clinical or crisis intervention support as needed
- Collaborate with organizational leadership on program development, budgeting, and strategic initiatives
