Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Lead Florist to oversee floral production, studio operations, and event execution. This role is hands-on and leadership-driven, requiring strong design skills, logistical oversight, and the ability to manage both people and processes. Weekend availability is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Execution & Onsite Management
- Lead floral execution for events from start to finish
- Manage onsite setup, installations, and breakdowns
- Serve as point of contact during events to ensure seamless delivery
Weekly Readiness & Logistics
- Prepare weekly event materials, including printing orders and timelines
- Oversee logistics planning and ensure all event details are organized and accurate
- Ensure all events are fully prepped and ready for execution
Studio & Operations Management
- Maintain studio organization, cleanliness, and functionality
- Oversee vehicle maintenance and readiness for event transport
- Ensure all “out-the-door” SOPs are completed prior to event departures
Supply & Inventory Management
- Manage floral and hard goods inventory
- Coordinate supply orders and communicate needs to leadership
- Ensure proper stock levels for upcoming events
Team & Freelancer Management
- Hire, schedule, and manage freelance florists as needed
- Provide direction, training, and oversight to ensure quality standards are met

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and can balance both design execution and operational leadership.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in floral design and event execution required
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Clean driving record required
- Willingness to work weekends and flexible hours
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $57,500 annually
