Position: Caregiver - 1609R

Starting Wage: $24.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday 2:30pm-8:30pm

Location: Woodburn, OR, 97071

🌻 Client Bio:

I understand both English and Spanish, but I don't speak much of either. I use sign language and my assistive technology (A/T) device to talk, so it's important that my caregiver knows American Sign Language (ASL) like it says in my ISP. I do best with someone who is calm, patient, and consistent, and who can help guide me and keep me safe throughout the day. Sometimes I have a hard time with my emotions or behaviors, so I need someone who knows how to help me calm down and feel better.

I'm looking for a caregiver who will make me feel safe and supported, help me communicate, and encourage me to be more independent while I keep learning new skills every day.

🌻 Who We’re Looking For

• 18 years or older with 1 or more years of care experience
• CPR and First Aid certified or willing to get certified
• Own a smartphone
• Legal U.S. work authorization and background check
• Driver’s license and insurance for some roles

• Supporting Daily Living - From helping with meals, bathing, or getting ready for the day, you’ll provide care that helps members feel confident and comfortable.
• Encouraging Independence - Join members on walks, shopping trips, or community outings, helping them connect with the world around them.
• Building Life Skills - Teach and model everyday skills like cooking, managing money, and understanding social cues - empowering members to grow and thrive.
• Keeping Things on Track - Follow care plans, offer medication reminders, and document progress so our team can celebrate every milestone together.
