Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler System Installer to join our team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems in commercial and industrial buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in, pipe fitting, and blueprint reading, with experience working on construction sites or manufacturing environments. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects requiring technical expertise and attention to detail, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes.
Responsibilities
- Install fire sprinkler systems according to blueprints, schematics, and ASME codes & standards
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and pipe layouts
- Perform welding using MIG (FCAW, TIG) techniques, as well as soldering and tube bending
- Cut, thread, assemble, and install piping using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment
- Measure accurately with calipers and apply basic math skills for precise fitting
- Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper operation
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites or manufacturing facilities
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Assist in rigging, lifting, and positioning heavy components as needed
Experience
- Proven experience in fire sprinkler fitting or related construction trades
- Skilled in MIG welding (FCAW), TIG welding, welding in
welding standards - Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, HVAC systems, pipeline installation, plumbing, and assembly processes
- Mechanical knowledge of piping systems, pipe threading, soldering techniques, and tube bending
- Experience working on construction sites or manufacturing environments with a focus on safety compliance
- Knowledge of ASME codes & standards applicable to piping and sprinkler systems
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, calipers, and rigging equipment effectively
- Prior experience with maintenance tasks related to fire protection systems is a plus

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
