Math Program Coordinator

CLOSING DATE: January 15, 2026

PAY RATE: $12.00 - $15.00 (Depending on Experience and Qualifications)

SCHEDULE: Monday - Thursday (between the hours of 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm)

Part-Time position: 20 to 25 hours per week (Specific hours to be determined after hiring.)

DEPARTMENT: Lehi Rippy Literacy Center

Employee would be responsible for coordinating the math program and leading a small group of teachers, under the direction of the program director.

Responsibilities:

• Writing lesson plans
• Preparing and or creating math materials
• Occasionally teaching lessons to small groups of children (K - 4th grade)
• Monitoring and supporting other teachers in the math department

• Ability to interact well with children and redirect, as needed.
• Understand young children and how they learn.
• Interact professionally and get along well with other staff members.
• Provide good customer service and protect confidential information.
• Perform a variety of responsibilities with minimum supervision.
• Must possess a knowledge of various math strategies and be familiar with the Utah State Core Standards.
• Solid background in elementary math concepts.
• Knowledge of best practices and various effective math strategies.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Employment in this position is conditional upon passing a pre-employment background and drug test.

Salary : $12 - $15
