Description
Our Slot Technician II will be responsible for maintaining the slot floor when machines have problems, or not communicating. This position will require individuals to be self-motivated as well as a self-starter that requires little supervision.
Essential Job Function and Duties
- Repair, maintain and troubleshoot various brands of slot machines.
- Repair, maintain and troubleshoot our SDS player tracking system.
- Repair, maintain and troubleshoot various brands of progressive equipment.
- Repair electronics at a component level.
- Assist supervisors with customer disputes.
- Move slot machines.
- Convert various brands of slot machines.
- Perform board level repairs on various electronic equipment.
- Present oneself as a credit to Casino Fandango and encourage others to do the same.
- Meet the attendance guidelines of the job
- Be courteous, kind and patient with each other.
- Must maintain excellent customer service skills.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.
- Maintain an open line of communication with Management.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guest, fellow team members, and vendors.
- Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
- Strong computer skills required.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a slot technician.
- Must be familiar with AC/DC theory.
- Strong electronics, mechanical and bench repair skills.
- Must present a well-groomed appearance.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Registration Card.
- Must present a clean well-groomed appearance.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Respond to common inquiries and/or complaints from team members and guests.
- Must have the ability to successfully interact with other team members and management.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
- Must be flexible and able to work all shifts and weekends.
