Job Description:
The Cocktail Server will provide beverage service in a manner which ensures excellent customer service and a professional environment resulting in increased customer loyalty.
Job Requirements:
- Provide proper and professional cocktail service to all guests in a friendly and timely manner.
- Promote and record orders for drinks, reciting selections of all “call”, and “premium” brands as requested, pass on order to Bartender, properly garnish and deliver to customer in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of guest areas.
- Maintain exceptional knowledge of bar recipes, preparing cocktails and other drinks including wine and beer.
- Check identification of guests in order to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
- Greet guests in a polite and friendly manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Highschool diploma/GED.
- Previous cocktail service experience preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must comply with all health codes and regulations.
- Knowledge of casino environment preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of liquor and cocktail service.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Must be flexible and able to work all shifts and weekends.
- Must have and maintain an Alcohol Compliance or TIPS training.
- Must have the ability to responsibly monitor alcohol consumption to ensure the safety of our guests.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
