Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Partner with managers and supervisors to implement and uphold HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
· Communicate policy updates and coordinate required training and educational initiatives.
· Manage H-2A contracts and support temporary worker housing in coordination with Orchard operations.
· Supervise Orchard HR team members.
· Administer the workers’ compensation program, including new claims and ongoing case management.
· Oversee employee training programs for orchard and warehouse operations.
· Manage employee benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee support.
· Lead recruitment, sourcing, and onboarding efforts in collaboration with leadership.
· Administer the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through offboarding.
· Process unemployment claims and employment verification requests.
· Complete annual regulatory compliance filings.
· Collaborate with the Director of Human Resources and Warehouse General Manager on policies, procedures, and employee-related matters.
· Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field required. Equivalent related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive Human Resources experience required.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Valid transportation required.
- Experience with Paylocity HRIS system preferred.
- Experience with GANAZ onboarding system preferred.
Physical Requirements/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
· Ability to write, communicate, understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information in English and Spanish.
· Ability to plan, organize, and carry out assignments from management staff with minimal direction.
· Ability to analyze situations, interpret data and make decisions that have moderate impact on immediate work unit.
· Ability to organize and prioritize job duties in an effective and timely manner, set priorities and meet critical deadlines.
· Ability to maintain accurate files and records.
· Physical requirements for this position include hearing, seeing, speaking, feeling, reaching, pinching, and repetitive motions.
· This position requires standing and walking for long periods of time.
· This position requires exerting up to 20 pounds of force in order to lift, carry, pull, or move objects.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
