What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paralegal position at Legal Search Solutions, Inc.?
Paralegal, experienced with High Net Worth Family Law
Marital and Family Law Firm specializing in high net worth clients is continuing to grow and ready to hire an additional full-time Paralegal to join the firm.
This firm's paralegals focus on discovery and financials, the legal assistants do the scheduling/calendaring.
Heavy accounting and math including understanding tax returns, equitable distribution, net worth statements, income analyses, forensic accounting, calculating child support and alimony.
Tracing and analysis of bank/brokerage accounts, as needed.
Must be able to complete a financial affidavit from scratch- no program.
Drafting of Pre-nuptial agreements, some drafting of motions.
Managing cases through the process of dissolution.
Analyze retirement benefits and determine how those benefits can be divided (with attorney and CPA assistance).
Prep hearing and trial binders, prepare deposition binders/folders.
Pre-employment assessments demonstrating competency prior to being offered the position.
Familiarity with Smokeball is a plus.
