Construction Litigation Associate
Legal Search solutions is looking for a Construction Litigation Associate for a reputable boutique client in Miami, FL. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of complex commercial litigation experience with experience in construction litigation. The firm combines big law capabilities with boutique level service.
Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and analyze construction agreements.
- Draft, review, and respond to substantive pleadings, motions, and discovery.
- Assist with trial preparation and/or attend trial.
- Build trusting relationships with clients.
- Meet annual billable hour requirements and record time efficiently.
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Florida Bar.
- Strong knowledge of construction, lien, and surety law preferred.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- 3- years of commercial litigation with experience in construction litigation experience required..
- Demonstrated knowledge of litigation cases from inception to trial.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
