Sander/Finisher

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Sander/Finisher role in Vancouver, WA Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. Key Responsibilities:

· Sand, grind, and finish materials and products to meet quality and appearance standards.
· Operate hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment safely and efficiently.
· Inspect surfaces and completed products for imperfections, ensuring proper finish and consistency.
· Prepare products for painting, coating, assembly, or shipment by cleaning and smoothing surfaces.
· Maintain production schedules while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
· Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
· Assist with material handling, loading, and moving products throughout the production area.
· Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding production goals, quality concerns, or equipment issues.
· Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of sanding and finishing equipment.
· Accurately document production activity and report any defects or operational concerns.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior sanding, finishing, manufacturing, or woodworking experience is a plus.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced production environment.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
· Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
· Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
· Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.
· Willingness to work varying shifts, overtime, or weekends as required.
