Job Title: Deburr Technician, Assembler and Part Finisher
Job Summary:
This position will complete and manage all aspects of part finishing of CNC machined parts. Including deburring, cleaning, assembling and maintaining quality of final products. Additional activities to support packing and shipping, as well as inventory.
Day Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, Overtime as needed.
Pay Range is DOE, pay range is $18 to $24 per hour.
This full-time position is benefited after 60 days. Health care, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) and PTO.
Essential responsibilities include:
Work from drawings and/or written instructions to complete machined parts.
Performs finishing and deburring activities using a variety of hand tools and machinery.
Clean parts as needed in preparation for shipment.
Manage time and executes priorities with urgency to keep other departments on track.
Maintain quality and consistency of final product from run to run across many part and material types.
Complete installation of hardware and/or final assembly of parts and components.
Assist others within the shipping, receiving, inventory and machining departments as needed.
Perform additional duties as needed.
This job requires:
Ability to read and follow written instructions and comprehend part prints.
Teamwork, helpfulness, constant written, verbal and typed communication.
Ability to stand, walk, grasp, twist, bend, reach, pull with hand and wrist, kneel, crawl, and/or routinely lift to
50lbs as needed for 8 to 12 hours a day.
Utilize safety procedures, policies and standards always.
Ability to use mechanical tools like: Belt Sander, Pedestal Grinder, Air-Powered Tools, Drill Press, and Tumbler.
Ability to use hand tools like: Drill, Arbor Press, Hammer, Screw Driver, Wrench, X-Acto Knife and Files.
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages and fractions.
Desired candidates will have:
Excellent attention to detail.
1 year of shop experience using hand tools or machinery.
The ability to maintain a highly organized work space.
Above average manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
The ability and willingness to adapt to ever changing production environment.
High speed working pace.
