Metal Fabricator – Plasma/Brake

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Metal Fabricator – Plasma/Brake role in Boring, OR. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality metal products. Pay: $30–35/hr DOE

Key Responsibilities:
· Operate plasma cutting tables and press brakes to fabricate metal components to precise specifications.
· Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate production.
· Set up, adjust, and maintain fabrication equipment for optimal performance and efficiency.
· Perform bending, cutting, and forming operations on a variety of metals and thicknesses.
· Conduct quality checks on finished parts to ensure compliance with tolerances and specifications.
· Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
· Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and inventory accuracy.
· Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines.
· Accurately document production runs, measurements, and material usage.
· Report equipment issues, defects, or safety concerns promptly.

Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or fabrication training preferred.
· Proven experience operating plasma cutters and press brakes.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Flexibility to work swing shift and overtime as needed.
