CNC Programmer

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a CNC Programmer role in Cincinnati, OH.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs for milling and/or turning operations to support production needs.
· Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC equipment to ensure efficient and accurate machining.
· Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications to determine machining requirements.
· Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters to achieve precision and efficiency.
· Conduct in-process inspections using precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, CMMs, etc.) to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications.
· Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve machining challenges and improve processes.
· Maintain accurate documentation of programs, setups, tooling lists, and process adjustments.
· Monitor equipment performance and promptly report any malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives related to machining, workflow efficiency, and quality control.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in CNC programming or machining technology strongly preferred.
· 2 years of experience in CNC programming (Mastercam, GibbsCAM, Fusion 360, or similar).
· Strong understanding of G-code, machining principles, and manufacturing processes.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
· Experience with setup, tooling, and machine operation in a manufacturing environment.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision.
· Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
