Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Customer Quality Engineer role in Fort Mill. SC. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. Key Responsibilities:
· Serve as the primary customer-facing quality representative, ensuring all interactions reflect the company’s commitment to excellence.
· Lead customer communications related to quality concerns, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Manage and resolve customer quality complaints, coordinating internal resources to drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
· Support ongoing customer audits, meetings, and site visits—travel may be required up to (but not limited to) 30% depending on customer needs.
· Analyze customer performance metrics, trends, and data to identify quality improvements and opportunities for growth.
· Partner closely with internal manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to support production readiness, product launches, and ongoing quality management.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to reinforce trust and partnership.
· Ensure documentation, reporting, and customer feedback loops are accurate, timely, and aligned with organizational standards.
· Participate in continuous improvement programs, leveraging CQE or Green Belt methodologies.
Qualifications:
· 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Customer Quality, Customer Experience, CX, or CEX roles within a similar industry and product line.
· 1 years of leadership experience (team lead, project lead, supervisor, or equivalent).
· Experience in a heavy automation, fast-paced manufacturing environment is required.
· Strong customer-facing experience with proven success managing quality concerns and building strong client relationships.
· CQE certification preferred. If not held, a Green Belt is required.
· Excellent communication, professionalism, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to travel up to (but not limited to) 30% depending on customer requirements.
