What are the responsibilities and job description for the Local Class C Driver position at Legacy Supply Chain?
Driver Details:
- Operate a 24' Box truck to make deliveries to warehouse locations in Collierville, TN.
- Operate an electric Cherry Picker/Order Picker, Reach Truck, and/or Sit-Down Forklift to load and unload product from trucks.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and cycle counting.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Willingness to be cross trained in different departments.
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary or assigned.
Driver Requirements:
- One-year of experience driving 24’ Box trucks - no exceptions
- One-year of Cherry Picker/Order Picker, Reach Truck, and/or Sit-Down Forklift experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of local delivery experience
- Must have clean MVR
- No DOT recordable accidents in the past 2 years
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
