We are seeking a motivated and dependable Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle to transport freight across designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers, including manual transmission trucks, across local routes while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, trailer, and load to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance logs in compliance with company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and route changes.
- Assist with special cargo such as refrigerated goods or hazardous materials when required, following all safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight handling. MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE A MANUAL TRUCK
- Proficiency in operating various truck types
- manual transmission operation preferred.
