Legacy Personnel is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Newport, Oregon.
The Emergency Department provides care for a wide range of patients, from non-critical conditions to emergent medical, trauma, cardiac, and mental health needs. ED staff are also trained to care for pediatric patients.

Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients with varying levels of acuity
- Assess and triage patients with medical and behavioral health needs
- Care for critical cardiac and trauma patients
- Provide emergency care to adult and pediatric patients
- Respond to urgent and emergent situations
- Administer medications and treatments according to orders and protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Provide patient and family education as appropriate
Requirements
- Minimum 1 Year of Emergency Department RN Experience
- Current, unencumbered Oregon RN License required upon submission
- BLS/BCLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- PALS Certification
- TNCC Certification
- CEN Certification preferred
- Strong emergency assessment, triage, and critical-thinking skills
- EPIC experience preferred
