Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule: 36 hours/week, rotating weekends

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis, Oregon.

The Emergency Department provides care to patients with a wide range of medical needs, from urgent and non-critical conditions to complex and emergent cases. ED staff care for adult and pediatric patients and are trained to manage critical cardiac and trauma situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to emergency department patients.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Assist with emergent and urgent medical interventions.
• Care for patients with a wide variety of medical and mental health needs.
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Respond effectively to cardiac, trauma, and other emergency situations.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using EPIC EMR.
• Follow facility policies, procedures, and patient-safety standards.

Requirements

• Current, active, and unencumbered Oregon RN license required at the time of submission.
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification required.
• TNCC certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be available for night shifts, rotating weekends, and holidays.

Assignment Details

• 13-week contract assignment
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

• EPIC electronic medical record
• 4 positions available
