Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 14-bed Med-Surg unit in Lawton, Oklahoma. This position provides high-quality nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients in a collaborative clinical environment.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience and be comfortable caring for a diverse adult Med-Surg patient population.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to adult Med-Surg patients.
- Assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
- Monitor patient conditions and promptly communicate changes to the appropriate healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Accurately document patient care in the Allscripts EMR.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, nursing standards, and patient-safety requirements.

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse experience
- Current, active RN state license
- BLS/BCL certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Med-Surg nursing experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
