Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse (PICU RN)
We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse (PICU RN) for a 26-week contract assignment at Phoenix Childrens Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a great opportunity for an RN with Pediatric Intensive Care Nursing experience who is looking for a consistent shift schedule.
Position Details
- Facility: Phoenix Childrens Hospital
- Location: Phoenix, AZ
- Pay Rate: $72/hour
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract: 26 weeks
- Schedule: Days and Nights available: 7a-730p or 7p-730a
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Critical Care Float Pool
This assignment may float between all Locations:
- Main, 1919 East Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ 85016
- Arrowhead, 19007 N. 67th Avenue, Glendale, AZ 85308
- Avondale, 1665 North Avondale Boulevard, Avondale, AZ 85392
- East Valley, 3370 S Mercy Road, Gilbert, AZ 85297
This assignment will require floating to between CVICU, NICU, and PICU
Days and Nights Available 7a – 7p & 7p – 7a Shift will be decided in the interview. Only RTO discussed in the interview will be pre-approved.
This position works in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient and family to promote patient health through delivery of professional nursing care appropriate to patients age and condition as documented in the nursing and medical plans of care in accordance with evidence-based nursing and patient care practice standards and hospital goals, values and regulatory standards
Experience:
- 2 years’ experience as an RN in pediatric critical care.
- Level III or IV NICU hospital experience preferred.
- Children’s hospital experience preferred.
Certification/License/Registry Requirements:
- Current State of Arizona RN license
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Current Advanced NRP certification.
