MedSurg and ER Registered Nurse
We are seeking an experienced MedSurg and ER Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment at Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital in Newport, Oregon. This is a great opportunity for an RN with MedSurg and ER Nursing experience who is looking for a consistent shift schedule.
Position Details
- Facility: Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital
- Location: Newport, OR
- Pay Rate: $65/hour
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 3 × 12, Varied, every other weekend
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- EMR: EPIC
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
- The Medical Surgical unit specializes in the care of acutely ill adults and of those who require surgery both emergent and elective. Medical Surgical patients are given the highest standards of professional care by registered nurses and nurse assistants. Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing is strongly encouraged and supported.
- The Emergency Department provides care for patients with a wide variety of needs from non-critical to emergent medical conditions including emergent and urgent mental health care. All patients are welcome whether walking in or arriving by emergency transport. All Emergency Department staff are certified to care for critical cardiac and trauma patients including children.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of ER RN experience.
- Active Oregon RN license required.
- ACLS, TNCC and PALS required.
- Must be flexible in schedule
