Transportation Coordinator

Avantara Joliet is currently looking for an experienced Transportation Coordinator to join our team. The duties include scheduling and maintaining appointment calendars, assigning and supervising facility drivers, and ensuring compliance with fleet safety and infection control standards. Manages communication with service providers and facility departments regarding transportation needs and appointment requirements. Provides driver orientation, training, and performance oversight. When acting as a driver, safely transports Guests—including those with special medical equipment—assisting as needed, adhering to safety protocols, and promptly reporting incidents or delays.

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid, unencumbered Driver's License or other motor vehicle operator license required

• Clean driving record.
• 1 years as a medical transport professional.
  
  
  

Preferred Education And Experience

• 3 years as a medical transport professional
• Valid, unencumbered Nursing Assistant Certification in the state of practice.
