- Welcome patients warmly and create a positive first impression, both in person and over the phone
- Answer incoming calls with professionalism and route them to the appropriate staff members
- Perform client intake duties, ensuring accurate and complete patient information is entered into our systems
- Notify staff of client arrivals promptly to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with volunteer coordination, fostering a strong sense of community engagement
- Schedule appointments efficiently and handle cash transactions with care and accuracy
- Perform opening and closing procedures to prepare the clinic for daily activities
- Maintain a clean and welcoming lobby environment for patients and visitors
- Support the processing of lab results to ensure timely and accurate patient care
- Participate in our Performance Improvement Program to enhance the quality of services provided
- Foster collaboration and strong working relationships with your teammates
- Adhere to safety protocols, including attending required training and reporting safety concerns
- Stay informed through annual education programs and adapt to the evolving needs of the clinic
- Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support clinic operations
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Pleasant, professional, and articulate phone voice
- Ability to multi-task and handle many calls or patients at once
- Efficient and accurate data-entry skills
- Computer literacy and experience with multi-line phones or switchboards
- Basic math, alphabetical or numerical filing skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and decision-making responsibilities
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
