Responsibilities
* Must conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify or diagnose issues.
* Complete repairs, replacement, or adjustments on various components including steering and suspension, air conditioning, engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
* Perform maintenance operations such as oil changes and inspections, tire rotations, fluid services.
* Properly identify problems and plan repair procedures and parts needed using manuals, experience, or guidance.
* Utilize diagnostic tools to accurately troubleshoot and resolve issues.
* Keep detailed records of all repairs and maintenance work performed and also document any needed maintenance or repairs.
* Work in a shop environment with minimal supervision and follow directions.
* Must work safely and complete tasks on time.
Requirements
* Valid and insurable driver's license.
* Knowledge of diagnostic tools and shop information systems preferred.
* Strong communication skills.
* Solid understanding of automotive systems.
* Own basic tools (specialty shop tools and equipment provided).
* Lift up to 50 pounds and stay updated with ongoing training.
Pay: DOE - Substantial income possible!
