ABOUT THE ROLE
Left Lane Auto is a fast-growing, multi-brand, multi-location tire and automotive service platform built through acquisition. As we continue to expand across the country, we're looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team.
In this role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments across multiple brands and locations. You'll work closely with internal departments and external vendors to maintain strong financial controls, resolve discrepancies, and support the company's continued growth. This role is based out of our Champaign, IL office.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and efficiently across multiple business entities.
- Review invoices for proper approvals, coding, and supporting documentation before payment.
- Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment status, account inquiries, and issue resolution.
- Partner with Operations, Purchasing, and other internal departments to ensure accurate invoice processing.
- Maintain organized accounts payable records and documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Assist with month-end close by preparing account reconciliations and reporting as needed.
- Support audits by providing requested documentation and financial records.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounts payable processes and increase efficiency.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING WITH YOU:
- 2 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a multi-location or high-volume environment.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and accounting best practices.
- Experience with ERP or accounting software; experience with multi-entity organizations is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills when working with vendors and internal teams.
- High level of accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
