Automotive Mechanic - Clay Dooley

We are in need of a Technician/Mechanic experienced in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, performing routine maintenance, and completing repair work to manufacturer standards. A strong understanding of diagnostic tools, shop safety practices, and quality control is essential. Candidates should be team-oriented and committed to keeping vehicles running safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Performing routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid exchanges, and inspections.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues using industry-standard tools and equipment.
• Completing accurate, high-quality repairs in alignment with manufacturer and shop standards.
• Communicating clearly with service advisors and team members regarding vehicle needs and repair recommendations.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Ensuring all work is completed efficiently while upholding a high level of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
• Following all shop safety protocols and documentation requirements.

What You'll Bring with You:

• Basic understanding of automotive systems; experience with PC-based diagnostic tools and/or digital inspections are a plus.
• Previous experience in automotive maintenance or repair is preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license is strongly preferred.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
• Must be able to lift and move work-related items up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to push, pull, bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head-neck-shoulders as needed, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
