What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigating Paralegal position at Leeds Professional Resources?
Key Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, discovery, mandatory disclosures, correspondence, notices, and proposed orders for attorney review.
- Track court, discovery, mediation, and internal deadlines with no preventable lapses.
- Prepare hearing, mediation, deposition, and trial binders and exhibits.
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors within role boundaries.
- Maintain accurate files, notes, tasks, and calendars in Rocket Matter.
- Coordinate with junior paralegals and attorneys to resolve missing documents and case bottlenecks.
Required Qualifications
- Three or more years of litigation paralegal experience.
- Florida family-law experience across the case lifecycle
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
