IT Operations Manager
We are looking for an IT Operations Manager to oversee employee-facing technology services and ensure stable, scalable IT operations across the organization. This position will be responsible for daily IT support activities, device and access management, process optimization, and coordination of security and compliance efforts. The role reports directly to the Director of Technology.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as the main escalation point for employee technology issues and coordinate resolution across internal teams and external providers.
- Evaluate and implement automation and AI-driven tools to improve support efficiency and service delivery.
- Maintain and support enterprise productivity and collaboration platforms such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, identity providers, VoIP systems, and internal business applications.
- Oversee company hardware and office technology, including provisioning, updates, endpoint security, licensing, asset tracking, troubleshooting, repairs, and device replacements.
- Lead IT onboarding and offboarding workflows, ensuring timely setup and removal of accounts, system access, and equipment.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable IT service processes, including ticketing platforms, internal documentation, and standard operating procedures.
- Perform routine access audits and assist with security investigations related to user devices and systems.
- Manage vendor relationships and recommend staffing or outsourcing strategies as support requirements change.
- Provide mentorship and oversight to junior IT personnel as the team expands.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on IT operations or support experience.
- Prior experience leading or mentoring junior technical staff.
- Background supporting corporate or professional services environments; experience in regulated industries (such as financial services) is a plus.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities with a focus on identifying underlying issues.
- Knowledge of Google Workspace, Active Directory, and modern collaboration tools.
- Experience working with IT service management tools, ticketing platforms, and documentation practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical audiences.
