Alexander Technology Group is looking for an IT Operations Manager for a client in the waltham, MA area.
The IT Operations Manager oversees the stability, security, and day-to-day performance of the organization’s production technology environment. This is a hands-on role responsible for infrastructure, operational security, and IT service delivery, including end-user support, within a controlled and auditable framework.

Salary ~130-150k
Key Responsibilities:
- Govern and approve all production deployments and release processes
- Enforce change management, access controls, and environment separation
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure aligned with technical specifications
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines, deployment controls, and release gating
- Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and issue resolution
- Lead incident response, escalation, and root cause analysis
- Manage IT service delivery, including helpdesk operations and SLAs
- Administer identity and access management with strong audit controls
- Maintain documentation and ensure audit readiness
- Coordinate with engineering and external partners to ensure compliant deployments
Qualifications:
- 5–8 years of experience in IT operations or infrastructure
- Strong experience with cloud environments and DevOps practices
- Background in system monitoring, incident management, and operational controls
- Experience with identity and access management and security practices
- Relevant certifications or equivalent hands-on experience preferred
