Our mechanics play a major role in our customer relations. We are looking for a candidate who has a passion to help our customers with a can-do attitude
Responsibilities:
· Conducting daily equipment and preventative maintenance inspections
· Diagnosing and repairing all major systems on compact construction equipment, with emphasis on hydraulics, electrical, and diesel
· Performing system rebuilds and overhauls
· Communicating clearly with the service manager and customers on site to clarify instructions and discuss scope of repairs
· Maintaining the service truck in clean, organized, safe and well operating condition
· Performing any additional tasks assigned
· Complete any associated paperwork for customer work orders
Requirements:
· 3 years’ experience as a construction equipment mechanic
· Experience performing repairs on Bobcat, John Deere, Case, CAT, Kubota or other construction/agricultural equipment, required
· Strong skills in hydraulics, electrical, and diesel mechanics.
· Team-oriented and committed to quality work
· Ability to learn company policies and procedures and complete documentation accurately and thoroughly
· Ability to work independently and as a team with minimal supervision
· Computer skills
· Own common tools for repairing equipment and provide tool inventory for insurance coverage
· Maintain Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR & obtain DOT Medical Card
· Pass background check and pre-employment drug-screen
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $52.00 per hour
