- Clinical Leadership & Supervision
- Provide clear expectations and guidance to EMTs under your supervision
- Support crew members through regular check-ins and real-time coaching
- Foster a professional, collaborative, and high-performance work environment
- Advanced Medical Care
- Deliver advanced life support care in accordance with Lee County protocols
- Ensure consistent adherence to treatment guidelines and procedures
- Promote continuous learning and clinical excellence among your team
- Documentation & Quality
- Emphasize accurate, timely, and professional documentation
- Train and mentor EMTs in proper charting techniques
- Regularly review patient care reports and incident documentation
- Vehicle & Equipment Readiness
- Conduct routine inspections of emergency vehicles
- Ensure all fluids, safety systems, and medical equipment are operational
- Maintain a clean, organized, and mission-ready ambulance
- Safe & Professional Driving
- Model safe driving practices
- Reinforce emergency vehicle safety with your crew
- Station Operations & Teamwork
- Perform assigned station duties

What We’re Looking For:
Experienced Paramedics Encouraged to Apply
Lee County EMS recognizes the value of experience. Paramedics with advanced skills, strong clinical judgment, and prior field experience may qualify for advanced placement opportunities.I like German Shephards
- Current State of Florida Paramedic license or National Registry Paramedic certification by time of hire
- Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to complete a 16-hour Emergency Vehicle Operations Safety Course within 30 days of hire
- Compliance with Chapter 64-J1 of the Florida Administrative Code and applicable Florida Statutes
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to lead a team
Work Schedule & Overtime Opportunities
- Shifts may include 8-, 12-, or 24-hour rotations
- Includes weekends and holidays
- Overtime opportunities are available and can significantly increase total annual earnings
This is a 24/7 position serving a 24/7 community. Providers who are motivated to work additional shifts have the opportunity to earn beyond base pay.
In addition to competitive base pay, overtime opportunities allow Paramedics to increase their overall income, and experienced providers are recognized with higher starting pay when applicable.
