LedgeRock Golf Club is seeking an experienced, passionate, and service-driven Bar Manager to lead our beverage operations while delivering an exceptional member experience. Our Bar Manager will oversee the daily operations of multiple bar venues, including our signature restaurant, clubhouse bar, outdoor dining venues, golf events, weddings, member functions, and special events. What You'll Do

As Bar Manager, you will:

• Lead and inspire a team of bartenders and beverage staff while fostering a positive, professional culture.
• Oversee all daily bar operations to ensure exceptional execution and consistency.
• Deliver an elevated member and guest experience through personalized hospitality.
• Develop seasonal cocktail menus and beverage programs.
• Maintain and expand the Club's beer, and premium spirits offerings.
• Ensure proper beverage presentation, quality, and consistency.
• Manage beverage inventory, ordering, receiving, and monthly inventories.
• Control beverage costs while maximizing revenue opportunities.
• Monitor labor scheduling to meet business demands efficiently.
• Maintain compliance with all Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board regulations and Club policies.
• Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop bartenders and beverage staff.
• Conduct regular beverage education and service training.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Food & Beverage leadership on wine dinners, specialty events, and member experiences.
• Oversee banquet and event beverage operations.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, sanitation, and safety standards are consistently achieved.
• Maintain accurate beverage records, POS procedures, and cash controls.
• Build meaningful relationships with members through outstanding hospitality and service.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Minimum 3-5 years of progressive bar management experience.
• Experience in a private country club, luxury hotel, upscale restaurant, or resort preferred.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, and beer.
• Understanding of food and beverage pairing principles.
• Experience managing beverage inventory and cost controls.
• Strong financial awareness, including budgeting and beverage cost management.
• Experience with POS systems (Jonas Encore experience is a plus).
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and club events.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional appearance and polished demeanor.
• Passion for hospitality and member service.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pennsylvania RAMP Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• ServSafe Food Handler and Alcohol Certifications
• Wine education such as WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers, Society of Wine Educators, or similar
• Experience creating cocktail and wine programs
• Experience managing banquet beverage service
• Private Club experience strongly preferred
