Weekend Security / Bar Back
We're looking for a reliable, professional bouncer to join our team on Friday and Saturday nights.
Please note this is a smoking establishment.
Schedule:
- Fridays & Saturdays
- 8:00 PM – 2:30 AM
Responsibilities:
- Check IDs and verify age requirements
- Monitor the entrance and control occupancy
- Maintain a safe, welcoming environment for customers and staff
- De-escalate conflicts and remove disruptive patrons when necessary
- Coordinate with bartenders and management regarding any issues
- Assist bartenders with stocking coolers and closing procedures as needed (tips)
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and handle a fast-paced environment
Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience including additional tipout for helping bartenders as required
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
