Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety at all times
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages as needed to keep the bar fully equipped
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators for catering, banquet, or nightclub service needs
- Uphold all food handling procedures and adhere to health regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts using strong time management skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and food industry transactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while promoting responsible drinking practices
- Previous experience with catering or food service environments is advantageous
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required in hospitality settings
