We are seeking an experienced Senior Property Accountant to manage the accounting functions for our commercial and residential real estate portfolio. This role works closely with property managers and the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and excellent operational support.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of properties.
Manage rent billing, collections, and tenant accounts.
Reconcile financial statements, general ledgers, and bank accounts.
Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
Track CAPEX and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Provide support for ad hoc financial analysis and projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field (preferred).
5 years of relevant accounting experience (real estate preferred).
Familiarity with property management systems (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio).
Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong organizational skills.
Excellent communication and ability to handle multiple priorities.
