The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, maintain organized financial records, and foster strong vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process a high volume of vendor invoices in compliance with company policies.
- Match purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents to verify transaction accuracy.
- Maintain detailed records of financial transactions and vendor accounts.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Execute weekly vendor payments via multiple payment methods.
- Review travel expense reports for policy compliance.
- Reconcile corporate credit card statements.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve issues and respond to inquiries.
- Support audit and financial review processes by preparing relevant reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable or a related finance role.
- High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and general accounting procedures.
- Experience in high-volume environments.
- Familiarity with tax compliance, including 1099 reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
